Whitney Scapecchi is an Alabama-based investigative journalist and community advocate focused on public accountability and transparency. Her work began as a mother raising safety concerns in a Baldwin County public elementary school, which exposed political influence and private interests embedded in public education. She is the lead writer behind Southern Freedom Press, where she connects the dots between policy, power, and the public interest.
